RESERVATION FAQ

Our website brings together all the useful information about our campsite in order to best organize your holiday with us. You will find, for example, on the Home page the following practical information: Map, Prices and Catalogues of pitches. You can also contact the reception by email or telephone who will help you choose the best location or rental for your family.
If you wish to contact the campsite directly by telephone or email, the contact details can be found on the Home or Contact page of our website. You can also send us your questions via the online form accessible on the Contact page.
We do not deliver an estimate by telephone or email. However, you can obtain a quote for your stay by simulating a reservation on our website without going as far as final payment. To do this, you must first choose the category of your pitch or rental then select your period by adding the supplements.
Reservations are made exclusively on our website. No reservations are accepted by telephone or email. Do not hesitate to contact the reception for any assistance you may need.
During your reservation, you can choose for free your pitch or rental number. To do so, please indicate in the comments section of your reservation your 3 preferred numbers in order of priority (please make sure to check their availability with the reception beforehand). We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Upon receiving your reservation request, we check availability and validate it within a maximum of 3 days. Your reservation is effective once you receive the confirmation sent automatically by email after payment of your deposit. If you haven't received a confirmation email, please check your spam folder or ensure the correct spelling of your email address. Otherwise, you can request us to resend it to you by email or phone.
Payment of the deposit and balance is exclusively made by credit card, a completely secure payment method through our partner Payline. Payments by bank transfer, Ideal, check, holiday vouchers, and cash are no longer accepted as they are not secure payment methods.
The deposit, amounting to 40%, is payable upon validation of your reservation request. Any reservation request that is not validated does not entail any payment and therefore no refund of the deposit. The balance of your stay must be paid 30 days before your arrival. No reservation fees, modification fees for your stay, or charges for choosing your pitch number will be billed to you.
We no longer accept either.
Starting from your 2nd stay, you can benefit from the Fidelity promotion, which grants you a 10% discount (except on certain supplements) for any reservation made before December 31st on our website, regardless of the period and duration of your stay. To do so, please contact the reception by email to obtain the code to use when making your reservation request.
At L’Hirondelle, all families benefit from free reservation fees, modification fees for their stay, and the choice of pitch number.
The minimum length of stay varies depending on the period and the chosen pitch category: - For a Rental, the minimum stay is 6 nights except during high season and low season (3 nights) - For a Pitch, the minimum stay is 3 nights except during low season (1 night)
The maximum capacity of a Rental varies depending on its category, accommodating from 4 to 8 people, including one mandatory adult (please refer to the Accommodation page of our website to know the capacity of each Rental). The maximum capacity of a Pitch is 6 people, including one mandatory adult. The number of people indicated per Rental or Pitch must not be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. If you exceed this maximum capacity, you will need to rent 2 Rentals or Pitches.
Yes, babies are counted in the capacity of Rentals and Pitches. The number of people indicated per Rental or Pitch must not be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. If you exceed this maximum capacity, you will need to rent 2 Rentals or Pitches.
Simply include a comment to that effect in your reservation request, and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on the remaining availability.
A maximum of two vehicles are allowed to park inside the campsite, as we aim to limit traffic on our site to preserve its tranquillity. You can park directly on the pitch or next to your rental unit. All additional vehicles must park outside in the parking lot at the entrance. The rate for a Pitch or Rental already includes one vehicle. The second vehicle incurs an additional fee, which you can select during your reservation.

PRICES

Nightly rates are available on the Home or Contact page of our website. The price of a stay in a Rental equals the sum of the following three elements: nightly rate + supplements + tourist tax. Supplements include the following services: rental of sheets and/or towels, rental of a baby kit, end-of-stay cleaning fee, pet fee. The tourist tax is €0.65 per night per adult (person > 18 years old).

The price of a stay on a Pitch equals the sum of the following three elements: nightly pitch fee (= 1 pitch + 1 adult + 1 vehicle + 1 equipment) + supplements + tourist tax. Supplements include the following services: additional persons, additional tent or car, pet fee, rental of a fridge, electricity. The tourist tax is €0.65 per night per adult (person > 18 years old).
With the reservation of a stay on a Pitch or in a Rental, you have access to all the free infrastructures, services, and activities of the campsite. Included in your rate are: access to the water park, access to the 3 river beaches, children's playgrounds including inflatable games, multisport field, pétanque, table tennis, mini-golf, Wi-Fi, access to the Mini-Club, sports and wellness activities (yoga, aqua fun, qi gong), etc. Our prices also include water and electricity consumption during your stay, as well as various free fees (reservation, modification, and pitch selection). However, all detailed supplements in our Rates section on the Home or Contact page of our website are payable in addition. Please note, some animations may not be offered at the beginning of the season (please inquire at The reception).

CANCELLATION or MODIFICATION

To do this, you must send us an email with the reason for your cancellation or modification. No request can be recorded by telephone. Changing a reservation is free but limited to remaining availability. For cancellation, remember to read our cancellation conditions (GSC). We strongly advise you to take out cancellation insurance with the service provider of your choice (our website does not yet offer insurance). Cancellation Insurance is mandatory to be covered in the event of cancellation on your part.
In the event of cancellation of your stay before arrival, interruption of stay or postponed arrival and whatever the cause (illness, accident or unforeseen event), the tenant will be required to pay the balance of the reservation and no refunds will be given. On the other hand, if you take out Cancellation Insurance with a partner of your choice, you are partially or totally guaranteed the amounts already paid (our website does not yet offer you insurance).
You can easily modify any of the elements of your reservation free of charge, subject to remaining availability. If the amount of your new stay is higher than the initial stay, you will have to pay the difference. Otherwise, the price difference is not refunded. You automatically benefit from this FLEX Guarantee as soon as you book. Validated changes are free and do not incur any modification fees.

STAY

In Pitch, the reception is from 2 p.m. and departure at noon maximum. In Rental, the keys will be given to you from 4 p.m. and you must return them before 10 a.m. If you arrive outside The reception hours, remember to notify the Campsite.
Contact The reception, preferably by telephone, to see (depending on your arrival time) how to organize yourself. Please note the barriers on our site are closed from 11 p.m., after this time no vehicle can enter the site.
Pets are welcome! For everyone's comfort, only one animal is accepted per Rental or Per Pitch, with a daily supplement. Dangerous or aggressive animals and category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed on our site. Your pet must be vaccinated, kept on a leash, and its droppings picked up.
Our campsite has 6 charging stations at pitches 1 to 4. Please go to The reception to find out how to charge. For security and insurance reasons, it is not possible to connect directly to the electrical terminal of a pitch or the socket of a Rental.
Following several serious accidents caused by the illegal charging of electric vehicles on pitch or Rental sockets, we remind you that our Rentals and Pitches are not suitable for charging an electric or hybrid vehicle. This can: - Cause damage to the vehicle, - Cause serious accidents in the rental (explosion, fire, short circuits), - Cause significant damage to the campsite's electrical network. Our insurance does not cover any damage caused by the loading of a vehicle. The entire loss is the total and exclusive responsibility of the vehicle owner. For these reasons and for your safety, it is strictly forbidden to recharge the battery of an electric or hybrid vehicle by plugging into the electrical outlet of a Rental. In the event of an infringement, we bill and debit an amount of €200 from your bank card.
No, minors not accompanied by an adult are not accepted even with a parental certificate.
This is possible, subject to remaining availability. To do this, you must send us an email (requests by telephone are not recorded). You can then pay the supplement upon arrival.
No, it is not possible to book activities in advance.
You can rent a baby kit while stocks last. The Kit includes a highchair, a folding bed (with its mattress but without sheets) and a bathtub. Ask The reception to reserve it in advance 😊
In swimming pools, wearing swimming trunks is obligatory as well as wearing a bracelet. For reasons of hygiene and safety, the following are prohibited in swimming pools and slides: long clothing, shorts / boxer shorts / wetsuits / skirts / Bermuda shorts / fully covering swimsuits, anti-UV t-shirts, etc. Anti-UV t-shirts are only authorized for children under 8 years old. Young children must wear diapers specially designed for swimming, to comply with hygiene standards.
If you want to enjoy your vacation until the last second, book your end cleaning service for the end of your stay. This package is invoiced according to the category of your Rental (refer to the detailed Rates on our Home or Contact page of our website).
Wifi access is free in the Reception, Restaurant and Toilet areas of the campsite. It is currently not possible to install it throughout the campsite given the density of our trees which act as a screen.
Our priority is to provide you with the best service. Our goal is to give you the vacation you dreamed of. So don't hesitate to inform us of any problems by coming to meet us at the campsite The reception. Don’t wait until the end of your stay to come see us 😊
Daily visitors are allowed but must present themselves at the reception for security and insurance reasons. They do not have access to the water park or free activities for insurance reasons.
Yes, you can ask to rent a fridge. Please note, our stocks are limited. To guarantee your reservation, remember to check the box when booking online or notify The reception by telephone before your arrival.
We only accept electric or gas barbecues. Charcoal barbecues are not authorized for everyone's safety. The majority of our Rentals are equipped with a gas barbecue on the terrace (except the Cotton Lodges and Deluxe, the Forest Lodges).
You can obtain your invoice at the end of your stay and upon request from you by contacting the campsite directly by telephone or email.

ACCOMMODATIONS

We offer different types of accommodation divided into two main categories: - Canvas & Wood: Safari, Woody, Castor, Cotton Lodges and Deluxe, Forest - 100% Wood: Chalets, Cottage Naturalis Consult our Accommodation page for detailed information on our different Rentals.
Maximum capacity varies between 4 and 8 people (baby included). Consult our Accommodation page to find out the capacity of each one. For security and insurance reasons, it is not possible to go beyond this. If you exceed this maximum capacity, you will need to reserve a second Rental.
Yes, we have a 100% wooden Chalet for people with reduced mobility.
With the reservation of your accommodation, are included: all charges (water, gas, electricity), a vehicle, access to the reception services, the water park (on opening dates), play areas, other facilities and activities offered (free or paid on campsites). You can also select additional options offered when booking, do not hesitate to refer to the detailed prices on the Home or Contact page.

Yes, this is possible. We offer: the folding bed with its mattress (but without the sheets), a highchair and a bathtub. You can reserve each of these items by telephone or on our website. This option is not free.
You can subscribe to our cleaning option when booking or until the day before your departure from The reception, the amount varies depending on the rental (consult our Prices on the Home or Contact page). The dishes must be washed and put away, the trash emptied, the fridge clean and empty... You can also do the cleaning yourself, in which case the accommodation must be left in perfect clean condition as it was when you arrived.

PITCHES

The maximum authorized capacity on a pitch intended for tents, motorhomes and caravans is 6 people (children and babies included). If you exceed this maximum capacity, you will need to reserve a second location.
Our campsites are equipped with 10 amp EU sockets. Remember to take your adapters and a long extension cord.
We try as much as possible not to cut down trees. The surface area of the pitch that will be offered to you is also linked to the natural configuration of this pitch: a small or medium flat surface on a raised pitch, a pitch with a tree in the middle or surrounded by a lot of vegetation... It is why it is important to correctly enter the size of your tent, caravan or motorhome. We cannot guarantee access to your pitch if your equipment does not correspond to that which you indicated during your reservation. Please note to remember to include the size of your awning 😊

RESTAURANT

Reservation is not obligatory but recommended if you are booking for a large number of people or on the evenings of concerts or shows.

ACTIVITIES and SERVICES

We offer many free activities within the campsite. For children: mini-club (5 to 11 years old), mini-disco, booms, playgrounds, inflatable games, trampolines, ping-pong, mini-golf, multi-sports ground (football, handball, volleyball, badminton, etc.). For adolescents and adults: sports tournaments (football, handball, volleyball, badminton, ping-pong, etc.), archery, water polo, wellness activities (yoga, qi gong, aqua fun). The activity programs are displayed at the reception and on other notice boards in the campsite. The reception will help you register for these different activities.
We offer several paid activities within the campsite. For children: pony ride, visit to the Beavers on site with a guide. For teenagers and adults: visit to the Castors on site with a guide, massages, reflexology. The activity programs are displayed at the reception and on other notice boards in the campsite. The reception will also inform you about interesting activities to do in the surrounding area.
Yes, the campsite offers a free children's club. It is open from Monday to Friday for children aged 5 to 11, with a limit of 40 places available, depending on the number of trilingual staff present. The activity program, which changes every week, is displayed at the reception and on other notice boards in the campsite.
